Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the complaint petition all the accused persons demanded Rs. 50,000/- as dowry from the father of the complainant and due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry they all started mental and physical torture to the complainant and lastly she was driven out from her matrimonial house.

On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that petitioner is ready to keep his wife with all dignity and respect but

It is further submitted that petitioner is ready to deposit Rs. 1500/- in the court below which shall be released in favour of the complainant. On behalf of the State it is submitted that petitioner is named in the first information report. Considering the aforesaid facts it is directed that petitioner shall deposit Rs. 1500/- in the court below which shall be released in favour of the complainant and thereafter the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M, Bettiah, West Champaran in complaint Case No. 2860-C/2013.
