The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1170(c)/2015 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased employee and his widow has filed the present case. The allegation against this petitioner is that she has retained the Gate Pass of her late
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33508 of 2019(2) dt.21-05-2019 2/2 husband as well as the ATM card and also is preventing her from laying claims on other benefits which would accrue to her after the demise of her husband. As per the recitals in the F.I.R. itself, there is no allegation of physical torture, but only on the ground of such hindrances that the present case has been lodged against the petitioner.
Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above named be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1170(c)/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
