Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Addl.P.P. for the State.

Vide order dated 22.09.2015 in Cr. Misc. No. 53896 of 2013, the petitioner, Shashi Kishore Prasad Singh, was granted anticipatory bail. He was directed to surrender before the court below within a period of three weeks. The petitioner did not comply with the order and after seven years he came to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48753 of 2021(2) dt.13-07-2022 2/2 this Court with a prayer to extend the time of three weeks granted seven years ago.

Due to non-appearance of the petitioner the trial has hampered for a considerably long duration, as such, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below and make a prayer for regular bail.

With these observations, the modification petition is disposed of.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
