The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 307 and 392 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that three unknown accused persons on a motorcycle on the point of a firearm looted the informant of a total sum of Rs.16.3 lacs and escaped.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only on the basis of the confessional statement of a co-accused made before police. No incriminating article has been recovered from the petitioner's possession who has not been put on T.I. parade inspite of being in custody since 14.3.2022 and chargesheet has

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposing the prayer for bail submits that the registration number of the vehicle mentioned in the F.I.R. belongs to this petitioner. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the material that has transpired in course of investigation, no incriminating article having been recovered from the petitioner's possession, the petitioner not having been put on T.I. parade inspite of being in custody for 10 months since 14.3.2022 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Korha P.S. Case no.114 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar.
