2. The present petition has been preferred for quashing of the order dated 16.01.2023 passed in S.Tr. No. 129 of 2020 arising out of Parasbigha P.S. Case No. 117 of 2018 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad whereby the discharge petition filed under section 227 of the Cr.P.C. has been rejected.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the matter is of the year 2018, unnecessary delay is being done despite the fact that number of witnesses are there and he will be satisfied if the trial is taken to its logical conclusion at an earliest.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that it is a
