1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with C.A. Case No. 02 of 2016 registered for the offence punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner for the reason that the complaint case is of the year 2016 and the petitioner for the first time moved for anticipatory bail before the learned District Court in the year 2023, as such, it appears that the petitioner was contesting a leisure litigation.

4. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
