28-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AC to GP-18.
The present petition has been filed with a prayer to initiate contempt proceeding against Opp.Parties on an allegation of disobedience to an order dated 27.02.2013 passed in C.W.J.C.No.3209 of 2013. By the said order, the writ petition was disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to appear before the Collector, Nawadah and file a formal application and, thereafter, the Collector was required to get necessary enquiries held and pass appropriate order within the specified time.
In this case, a show cause has been filed on behalf of
Patna High Court MJC No.917 of 2014 (6) dt.28-01-2015 2/2 Opp.Parties and along with show cause, a detailed order has been brought on record as Annexure-C/1 to the show cause. It was submitted by learned State Counsel that in compliance with the order of the writ court, the Collector got the matter inquired into and passed a detailed order.
Since the order has already been passed by the Collector in compliance with the order of the writ court, there is no point to pass any positive order in the matter. The petition stands disposed of. If so advised, the petitioners may avail appropriate remedy.
