2. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

"(i) For the direction to the respondents authorities to make payment of remuneration to the petitioner for the post of "Safai Jamdar" from the date of his joining i.e. 01.01.2015 to till date with all consequential benefit and with Penal interest because the respondents authorities have knowingly and deliberately not make the payment of remuneration to the petitioner.

(ii) For any other relief/reliefs in petitioner found entitled in the facts and circumstances of the present case."

3. It seems petitioner has not submitted representation to the 2nd Respondent-The Chairperson, Nagar Panchayat, Sonepur, Saran in seeking the aforesaid relief. Therefore, petitioner is at

Patna High Court CWJC No.10452 of 2020 dt.11-01-2022 2/2 liberty to submit a detailed representation/application in seeking remuneration to the post of "Safai Jamadar" within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

On receipt of such application/representation, 2nd Respondent is hereby directed to pass a speaking order or extend all monetary benefits along with interest @ 8 % per annum in the light of Apex Court decision in the case of Vijay L. Mehrota Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh and others reported in 2001 9 SCC 687. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the petitioner's representation/application.
