The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the husband. The wife has made allegation that the petitioner assaulted her due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. The petitioner is in jail since 02.06. 2015. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than two and half months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in complaint Case No. 476/2013.
