Patna High Court MJC No.1501 of 2017(3) dt.21-02-2019 2/2 21-02-2019 Learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties submits that now the investigation has been handed over to the CBI and as such the opposite parties cannot contribute towards conclusion of the investigation as per the direction issued by the learned Writ Court on 03.10.2016.

It was the expectation of the Writ Court that fair and effective investigation should be ensured in the matter so that no innocent person is harassed and this Court presumes that the CBI being the premier investigating agency will leave no stone unturned to reach to a logical and fair conclusion. In that view of the matter, the Court is not inclined to keep the matter pending. Accordingly, the present proceeding is dropped and the application stands disposed of.
