The petitioner has moved the Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for the following relief: "That the instant petition has been brought by the petitioner for quashing the order dated 27.02.2008 passed by Md. Parwaz Alam, the S.D.J.M. Biharsharif, Nalanda in Complaint Case No. 276C of 2007 by which cognizance under Sections 406, 467, 468 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code has been taken against the petitioner and others and also for quashing the entire proceeding of the aforesaid complaint case no. 276C of 2007."
3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the parties submitted that the matter has been compromised between them.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid, the Court finds that no purpose would be served by keeping the criminal case alive as the parties have mutually agreed for a settlement.
5. In view thereof, the application stands allowed. The entire criminal proceeding arising out of Complaint Case No. 276 (C) of 2007, pending before the Court below at Biharsharif Nalanda, as far as it relates to the petitioner, stands quashed. (Ahsanuddin Amanullah, J.) Anand Kr.
