The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have given a blow with a rod on the head of the son of the informant leading to serious injuries.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The son of the informant was treated in a private hospital and the injuries are not opined to be grievous in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 13.4.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation in the F.I.R. which is supported by the injury report which has transpired in course of investigation, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
