JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted under Sections 304B and 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of murder of the daughter of the informant.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 14.8.2014. Chargesheet has already been submitted in the case. There is no allegation of tampering with the evidence against the petitioner. There is no direct evidence against the petitioner On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is no explanation on the part of the petitioner the manner in which his wife had succumbed to death.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, same is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33306 of 2015 (3) dt.06-10-2015 2 / 2 Anyhow the trial court, i.e., Ist Addl. Sessions Judge, Hilsa (Nalanda), is directed to expedite the trial in S.T. no. 625 of 2014 arising out of Parwalur P. S.
