The petitioner seeks PDS licence on compassionate ground. According to him, his application is at present pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Harsidhi, East Champaran, Motihari, who is not a competent authority to take a decision. He, thus, submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a representation before the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari (Chairman of the Selection Committee). In

Patna High Court CWJC No.10071 of 2020 dt.30-11-2021 2/2 case, any such representation is filed within two weeks from today, the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari shall endeavor to decide the same within eight weeks thereafter. The petition stands disposed off.
