Petitioner is said to be caught on the spot and fire arms were recovered from his possession but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that a quarrel had taken place between the petitioner and the informant on some petty issue and thereafter, petitioner was mercilessly assaulted by the informant and his companions and to save their skin, they lodged this false case against the petitioner. It would appear from perusal of para 3 of the petition that prior to institution of the present case as well as Ramnagar P.S. case no. 243/2014 for the occurrence of the same day, no case had been registered against the petitioner.

Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate,
