JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 18-08-2021 Heard Mr. Ranjeet Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 07.04.2021, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36885 of 2020, whereby he was granted anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of passing of the order.

The petitioner could not surrender within the aforesaid stipulated period.

For the reasons stated in the application, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44412 of 2021(2) dt.18-08-2021 2/2 prayer made on behalf of the petitioner for modification of the order, referred to above, is allowed.

In case the petitioner surrenders before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, he shall be accorded the privilege under the order dated 07.04.2021 but all the terms and conditions which have been imposed in the aforesaid order shall subsist. The order dated 07.04.2021 stands modified to the extent indicated above.

The modification application stands allowed.
