The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 354, 341 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 12 of the POCSO Act. As per the prosecution case, two accused persons misbehaved with the informant. On raising hulla, one of them was caught while one escaped. The accused who was caught disclosed the name of the petitioner who had managed to escape.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The only material against him is the statement of the co-accused made before police. The petitioner has not been put on T.I.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46777 of 2021(3) dt.25-02-2022 2/2 parade. He is in custody since 16.12.2020 and has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year and not having any criminal antecedent, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Special POCSO Case no.210 of 2020 (arising out of Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no.384 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge VI-cum-Special Judge (Spl.
