The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 01/2018 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the allegation is that the petitioner had kidnapped the victim girl, the victim girl in her statement before the Court has stated that she had herself gone with the petitioner and that she was expecting her baby after having been married with him. It is further submitted that the medical report also indicates that the victim girl is in between 17-19 years of age which is indicative of the fact that she is a major and is capable of making her own decisions.

No.33500 of 2019(2) dt.21-05-2019 2/2 Considering the aforementioned facts and circumstances and also the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 01/2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
