The petitioner seeks bail in Bikram P.S. Case No. 281 of 2020, registered for the offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, one Scorpio vehicle intercepted the pick-up van of informant and three accused persons came out from that Scorpio and forcibly took informant (driver) and Kundan Kumar (co-driver) into their vehicle and one person took the pick-up van of informant and fled away. It is further alleged that some unknown culprits also snatched their mobile phones.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is not named in the FIR. During course of investigation, name of this petitioner has surfaced in this case on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44850 of 2021(2) dt.22-01-2022 2/2 the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. No incriminating article has been recovered from possession of this petitioner. Till date petitioner has not been put on test identification parade. Petitioner has been remanded in this case on 08.02.2021 and he is in custody since 04.10.2020. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Danapur, Patna in connection with Bikram P.S.
