2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with University P.S. Case No. 28/ 2026 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 96 and 3(5) of the BNS.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that if the prosecution's allegation is taken into account the same is against the co-accused, Suraj Kumar who happens to be relative of the petitioners. The victim herself stated before the police and the Judicial Magistrate that she had entered into matrimonial relation with the co-accused, Suraj Kumar. It is lastly submitted that the said co-accused, Suraj Kumar is in judicial custody.

4. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer of the petitioners.

5. Considering the above submissions as well as facts and circumstances of this case and mainly taking into account the victim's statement recorded by her under section 183 of the BNS, in my opinion, the petitioners deserve to the relief of anticipatory bail. Accordingly, let the petitioners named-above, in the event of their arrest/surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with University P.S. Case No. 28/ 2026 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
