This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Buniyadganj P.S. Case No. 153 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegedly, from the petitioner's possession, 10 liters of country made liquor was recovered, during a raid conducted by the police. The petitioner is in custody since 02.06.2020. Though there is criminal antecedent against the petitioner, as mentioned in paragraph 3 of the application, considering the amount of illicit liquor allegedly recovered and the period of custody of the petitioner, as noted above, this
