The petitioner seeks bail in connection with C.R. No. 214 of 1999 registered under Sections 494, 498-A and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Considering the fact that the petitioner misused the privilege of bail for almost 15 years in connection with a case instituted under Sections 494 and 498-A of the Indian Penal Code, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present. The application is rejected.

If the trial of the case is not concluded within six
