2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial Case No. 1307/2022, arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 112/2019, lodged on 05.03.2019 under Sections 304B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected twice vide orders dated 10.08.2022 and 12.07.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 13020 of 2022 and Criminal Miscellaneous No. 28531 of 2023 respectively. While rejecting the prayer vide order dated 12.07.2023, he was given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after nine months from the date of passing of the order.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that on earlier occasion, a report with regard to the present stage of the case has been called for.

6. Upon perusal of the progress report, it transpires that the charge was framed on 23.02.2023 and the prosecution witness is going on. The report further reflects that three accused persons absconded, hence, their bail bonds have been cancelled.

7. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Sessions Tr. No. 1307/2022, arising out of Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 112/2019, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, Patna City is hereby rejected.
