2. Petitioner is informant of Chauri P.S. Case No. 63 of 2015 registered on 5th of October, 2015.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has filed representation on 1st of April, 2016 (Annexure-5) regarding lack of investigation in the First Information Report lodged by him. One of the complaints is that D.I.G. has orally ordered not to arrest the accused.

4. Keeping in view the allegations levelled, the present writ application is disposed of with direction to the Director General

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.678 of 2016 dt.14-09-2016 2/2 of Police to investigate the allegations levelled in the representation and take an appropriate follow-up action on a First Information Report lodged at the instance of the petitioner. The Director General of Police shall take action within four weeks. Liberty is given to the petitioner to move an Interlocutory Application, if the needful is not done expeditiously.
