Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

118 litres of liquor was allegedly recovered from the house of the petitioners.

Submission is that the house is occupied by other family members also. Petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 25.08.2020. Investigation of the case against the petitioners is already complete. Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33908 of 2020(3) dt.08-01-2021 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Vidyapati Nagar Police Station Case No. 145 of 2020, subject to the following conditions:- (a) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the learned court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.

(b) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below.
