1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Mahila P.S. Case no. 6 of 2025 registered under sections 85, 115(2), 351(3), 352 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that she was married to the petitioner herein on 9.7.2024. Soon

No.33780 of 2025(3) dt.10-09-2025 2/3 after the marriage, the accused persons, specially the petitioner herein, started to abuse and assault the informant, making demand of Rs. 5,00,000/- in cash besides other articles. The informant's parents were also abused and for the last six months, she has been living at her parents' place.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case only for the reason of his being the husband of the informant. The allegations levelled are false and concocted. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent and undertakes to cooperate in the case.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that immediately after the marriage, the petitioner as also the members of his family started to torture the informant.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the F.I.R., there having been no complaint in the past and specially petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33780 of 2025(3) dt.10-09-2025 3/3 connection with Mahila P.S. Case no. 6 of 2025 (G.R. no. 337 of 2025) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Banka.
