The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 307/353/331/332/333/337/338/380/427/448/471F/325 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3/4 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984, and Section 188 of the Public Representation Act, 1951.

There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners and others that they started pelting stones on the police party after arrest of the husband of petitioner Sahjahan Khatoon @ Shahjaha Khatoon by the police. Sahjahan Khatoon @ Shahjaha Khatoon was a candidate for the post of member of District Board

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24481 of 2016 (6) dt.17-03-2017 2/2 and had gone to file nomination and at the spur of moment the alleged occurrence took place.

Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of the order, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa/Successor Court in connection with Saharsa Sadar Police Station Case No.279 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
