Heard the parties.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

From the Truck of the petitioner, liquor was recovered. The driver disclosed that the liquor was to be carried to the petitioner who is in business of liquor. Petitioner has got an identical criminal antecedent.

Considering nature of material and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail in connection with Mahendia P.S.Case No.65 of 2021 arising out of Excise Case No.425 of 2021 pending in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44839 of 2021(2) dt.20-12-2021 2/2 the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge Excise, Jehanabad. Hence, prayer is refused. Petitioner is directed to surrender within two weeks and prayer for regular bail.
