The petitioners are in custody since 16.03.2022 in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 113 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/30(b)/30(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act and Section 272/273/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

On a secret informant, police recovered 120 litres of country made liquor and the petitioner No. 1 was arrested on the spot and on interrogation, he named the petitioner No. 2 as the person who was seen fleeing.

Considering the fact that the petitioners have clean

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36350 of 2022(2) dt.20-08-2022 2/2 criminal antecedent and they in custody since 16.03.2022 they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Excise, 1st Jamui in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 113 of 2022. The petitioners will visit the concerned Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioners.
