1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act as well as Section 78 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant bail application has been filed in terms of the liberty granted to the petitioner by an order dated 14.02.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 84818 of 2024 whereby petitioner was granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that charges against the petitioner have been framed by an order
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.39901 of 2025(2) dt.20-06-2025 2/2 dated 17.04.2025 (Annexure-5).
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.
6. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special (N.D.P.S.) Case No. 16 of 2024 arising out of Purnea Sadar (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 883 of 2023.
7. However, if the learned trial court comes to a conclusion that petitioner, after his release on bail, is trying to delay the trial of the case in any manner, the learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner. (Satyavrat Verma, J) Kundan/- U T
