JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 04-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State through video conferencing. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise Case No.233 of 2021 (P.R. No.08/ 21), instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a), 30(c), 30(D) and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 06.06.2021, they are persons with clean antecedent and prosecution report has been submitted in the case.

Allegation against these petitioners is of unloading 1580 empty bottles of liquor from a Bolero pick-up van.

Considering the fact that the petitioners are in custody since 06.06.2021, they are persons with clean antecedent and prosecution report has been submitted in the case, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Excise Case No.233 of 2021 (P.R. No.08/ 21).

The application stands allowed.
