The petitioner's licence to run a Fair Price Shop under Bihar Trade Articles (Licenses Unification) Order, 1984 was cancelled vide order dated 18.05.1986 contained in memo No. 760.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10497 of 2020(3) dt.24-01-2022 2/2 Without seeking quashing of the said order, the petitioner is seeking a direction from this Court to the respondents to take appropriate action for restoration of the said PDS dealership licence of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been continuously approaching the authorities for restoration of his licence.

In our view, it will be inappropriate for this Court to interfere in the matter as this case has been filed nearly 34 years after cancellation of the said licence.

This application is thoroughly misconceived and is dismissed accordingly.
