JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 27-04-2023 The present petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- " (i) To issue a writ of certiorari quashing the resolution dated 8/3/2022 as contained in memo no. 1595 of the Joint Secretary, Registration Excise & Prohibition Department Government of Bihar, Patna by

Patna High Court CWJC No.9447 of 2022(2) dt.27-04-2023 2/3 which resolution no. 1540 dated 3/7/1982 of the Department of Revenue Land Reforms (Registration Department) granting/ providing permission to erect shed to the Deed Writers for carrying out their activities of deed writing in the respective registration office of the state of Bihar has been cancelled.

(ii) To issue order/ orders, direction/ directions, writ/ writs preferably a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 7, District Magistrate-cum-Registrar, Patna to allot the petitioners a piece of land of about 3000 sq. feet enabling them to put their shed for carrying out their activities of writing deeds on behalf of their clients in as much as pursuant to the decision of the state government to demolish the building of Patna Collectorate, authorities of the registration department has verbally directed to vacate the premise on which they are carrying out their activities since the last four decades by paying annual rental fees.

(iii) During the pendency of the present proceedings, issue order/ orders, direction/ directions, writ/ writs upon the respondent authorities directing them either not to vacate the deeds writers where they are presently working or provide alternative land nearby the Patna Registration Office, Patna

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the Members of the petitioner's Association have been accommodated at Chhajju Bagh, most of the grievances of the petitioner's Association have stood redressed, however, liberty be granted to the petitioners to agitate their subsisting grievance, if any, by approaching the respondent- authorities. Liberty so sought, is granted. The writ petition stands disposed off.
