2. The petitioner apprehends their arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B), 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code .

3 . The prosecution case, in brief, is that the marriage of the daughter of the informant was solemnized with the coaccused Rajesh Kumar in the year 2023 . After marriage , this petitioner along with other co-accused persons started demanding Rs. 50,000/- cash as dowry and due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry, accused persons killed the daughter of the informant by strangulation .

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41576 of 2025(2) dt.31-07-2025 2/2 case. Petitioner is brother-in-law (Bhaisur) of the deceased. Allegation is general and omnibus in nature . He is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with affairs of couple . Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5 . Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submits that there is specific accusation against this petitioner that he along with other co-accused of killing the daughter of the informant. As per postmortem report, cause of death of deceased is due to strangulation .

6. Considering the same and nature of accusation , gravity of offence against this petitioner, his prayer for anticipatory bail petition stands rejected.
