The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 664 of 2018 registered under Sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act.

Considering recovery of one country made pistol from the house of the petitioner as also the fact that the petitioner is accused in two other cases of serious nature, I am not inclined to grant him bail for the present even though he is in custody since 08.10.2018. The application for bail is rejected. Learned ACJM, Sherghati, Gaya is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as early as possible preferably within four months from the date of receipt/
