2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 617 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 109, 352, 351(2), 79 and 3(5) o BNS.

3. As per the FIR, during Durga Puja on 12.10.2024 at about 12:15 AM, the petitioners along with other co-accused persons were passing obscene remarks at women visiting the Durga idol. When the informant and Puja Committee members objected, a scuffle took place between the parties. Thereafter, petitioner no. 1,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36807 of 2025(5) dt.24-12-2025 2/2 his father, uncles, and other associates, armed with lathi and danda, assaulted the informant and others, causing grievous injuries. Thereafter, the police arrived, but the accused persons fled away.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. The injuries are simple in nature and there is previous enmity between petitioner no. 1 and informant. Prior to the present case, the informant has also lodged Gandhi Maidan PS Case No. 746 of 2023 against petitioner no. 1.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Patna in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 617 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
