Two country made pistols and six cartridges are said to have been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner, who carries criminal antecedents in several cases which are evident from para-3 of the petition.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case as well as submissions made on behalf of the parties, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail in connection with Bikramganj P. S. Case no. 10 of 2013 stands rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible within a
