JUSTICE MUNGESHWAR SAHOO ORAL ORDER 19-10-2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that if One Time Settlement is made, the petitioner is ready to pay Rs.4 lakhs. By the impugned order dated 11.12.2015 the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in Divorce Case No.201 of 2014 directed the petitioner to pay Rs.2,500/- per month as maintenance under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act. However, this impugned order is under challenge before this Court. According to the learned counsel, the petitioner is a student but the court below directed the petitioner to pay Rs.2,500/- per month.

In view of submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is ready to pay Rs.4 lakhs as One Time Settlement, in my opinion, the order passed by the court below cannot be said to be unreasonable and it cannot be said that the petitioner is not able to pay the same. It calls for no

Patna High Court C.Misc. No.701 of 2016 (3) dt.19-10-2016 interference in supervisory jurisdiction. Accordingly, this civil miscellaneous application is dismissed.
