The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Taraiya P. S. Case No. 301 of 2020, dated 25.08.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
1000 litres of liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle and along with the said recovery, the driver of the vehicle was also arrested. The aforesaid arrested accused person has disclosed the

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the accusation against him is only on the basis of a confession of the arrested accused person. There is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and he does not have criminal antecedents. Considering the above-noted two facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge cum Special Judge (Excise), Saran at Chapra, in connection with Taraiya P. S. Case No. 301 of 202, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438
(2) Cr.P.C.
