JUSTICE NAWNEET KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER 16-05-2022 Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to remove all the defects pointed out by the Stamp Reporter within one month. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Rana Vikram Singh, Learned Spl.P.P. for the Vigilance. At the outset, learned Spl.P.P. for the Vigilance, Mr. Rana Vikram Singh, has submitted that the anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 09.07.2019 in Cr. Misc. No. 41891 of 2019, to which the learned counsel for the petitioner has replied that his anticipatory bail petition was rejected and that has been mentioned in paragraph No. 2 of the bail petition but the present petition has been filed on changed circumstances that the petitioner is under treatment and he is admitted in the hospital. From perusal of the order dated 09.07.2019 in Cr. Misc.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46846 of 2021(3) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 No. 41891 of 2019, it appears that the anticipatory bail petition of the petitioner was rejected as he was caught red handed taking a bribe of Rs. 5,000/-. After two years of rejection of his anticipatory bail, the petitioner has filed the present anticipatory bail petition on medical ground.

I am unable to understand why this anticipatory bail petition has been filed after so prolonged duration after rejection of his previous anticipatory bail petition. I do not find any merit in the present petition, accordingly it is dismissed. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time provided in para-1 hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
