Petitioner happens to be husband of the complainant and it appears that he was thrice granted privilege of provisional bail but due to laches on his part, his provisional bail was cancelled and accordingly, he was taken into custody on 11.5.2015 and since then he is languishing in jail custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub divisional Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in Complaint case no. 2985/2008, Tr. No. 1549/2015 subject to the condition that petitioner shall attend the learned trial court in person on each and every date for the period of seven months or till conclusion of his trial whichever is earlier and if he fails to do so on two consecutive dates without any reasonable
