1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no. 881 of 2023 registered under sections 420, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he was threatened and forced by the petitioner on 5.9.2023 to give his receiving on a document with the date 4.9.2023.
4. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. On
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34985 of 2025(3) dt.05-06-2025 2/3 perusal of the contents of the F.I.R. it would transpire that the allegations are trivial in nature and in fact no offence is made about against the petitioner. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the investigation/trial.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner further submits that a supplementary affidavit has been filed stating therein the error committed in the main petition wherein the statement had been made to the effect that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. It is submitted that it has been explained in the supplementary affidavit that in an earlier case lodged in the year 2013, the petitioner had been acquitted in the year 2021 and thus the bonafide error in the instant petition filed in the year 2025.
6. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R. and in the facts of the case, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case no.881 of 2023 on furnishing bail
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34985 of 2025(3) dt.05-06-2025 3/3 bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna.
