2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 530 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) of NDPS Act and Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, there is recovery of 154 Kgs. of Ganja from a vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in custody since one year.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the huge recovery, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36268 of 2023(5) dt.01-11-2023 2/2 grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial.

9. The petitioner may pursue his study from the jail itself.
