2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 89, 80, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. As per prosecution case, daughter of informant was married with co-accused Nitish Kumar in the month of April, 2024 and after the marriage, she was subjected to cruelty and torture with her in-laws members for dowry and lastly, on 29.04.2025, the informant learnt that his daughter has been killed by the accused persons for dowry.

4. Petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and committing torture against this petitioner. Thrust of the accusation is against husband of the deceased, who is already in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34847 of 2026(2) dt.03-07-2026 2/2 custody since 16.06.2025. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and has got no concern with the family affairs of deceased and her husband. Petitioner is lady and is in custody since 27.01.2026.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of petitioner.

6. However, considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 353 of 2025.
