The petitioner being husband of the informant is languishing in jail custody since 24.6.2015 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is contended that the marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with the informant in the year 2001 and the present case was lodged in the year 2015, i.e., after 14 years of the marriage.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as submission made on behalf of the petitioner, he (petitioner) above named is directed to be released on bail on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36932 of 2015 (2) dt.01-09-2015 2 / 2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, in connection with Ramgarhwa P. S. Case no. 47 of 2015.
