The petitioner seeks bail in Chhatapur P.S. Case No.298 of 2019 registered under Section 307 and other minor Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Rajendra Mehta with dabiya on his head. It is submitted that single injury was found on the head of Rajendra Mehta which is said to have been caused by hard and blunt object. No sharp edge injury was found on the head of Rajendra Mehta. It is submitted that petitioner is in jail since 04.06.2020. Petitioner has already remained in jail for about eight months.

Taking into consideration the facts that of course the injury is grievous in nature but only single injury is found that

No.34812 of 2020(2) dt.27-01-2021 2/2 too caused by hard and blunt object on the head of Rajendra Mehta and for that the petitioner is in jail for about eight months, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. VI, Supaul in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No.298 of 2019.
