Heard the parties in virtual Court.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273 of I.P.C. and Sections 30(a),41 and 47 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From a truck, huge quantity of liquor was recovered. Petitioner is driver of the truck. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 21.08.2020.

Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after framing of the charges

No.34191 of 2020(2) dt.23-12-2020 2/2 so that the trial may not hamper on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Special Excise Case No.323 of 2020 arising out of Baisi Police Station Case No.205 of 2020 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
