2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Supplementary Parbatta (Maraiya) P.S. Case No.324 of 2023, G.R. No.2328 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 27.02.2019 sister of the informant was married with Sushil Kumar. After marriage, she was subjected to torture and threatened her of life by her inlaws for demand of dowry. It is alleged that on 13.07.2023 informant got information from Sushil Kumar that his sister has committed suicide by hanging herself. The informant reached there and saw his sister dead.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is brother-in-law (Devar) of the deceased who has

He further submits that there is general allegation against the petitioner and he is living separately from the husband of the deceased before the date of marriage and also he has no concern with the alleged occurrence. Learned counsel submits that petitioner is in custody since 19.02.2024 having no criminal antecedent and he shall co-operate in the trial. He further submits that similarly situated co-accused namely Bhim Yadav has already been granted bail by this Court vide order dated 10.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.82460 of 2023.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Khagaria in connection with Supplementary Parbatta (Maraiya) P.S. Case No.324 of 2023.
