The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with C2 Case No. 248/2020 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Three litres of liquor is said to have been found beneath the soil behind the house of the petitioner, which is an open area.

The petitioner does not have criminal antecedents. Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner,

No.32413 of 2020(2) dt.09-02-2021 2/2 above named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-IIcum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Sitamarhi, in connection with C2 Case No. 248/2020, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
