Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that transfer has been made in violation of Statute No. 56 inasmuch as the petitioner is one of the four senior most Professors in the subject of Hindi and was working in the P.G. Department of the Lalit Narayan Mithila University since 13.07.2017 but he has wrongly been transferred on 24.08.2021. The petitioner has filed a representation before the Vice Chancellor of the University on 05.05.2022 and the same is still pending (Annexure 9 to the writ application).

Taking into consideration nature of dispute and the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9459 of 2022(6) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 fact that representation of the petitioner is pending before the Vice Chancellor, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, I direct the respondent no. 2 / learned Vice - Chancellor, L.N.M.U. to dispose the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law and by a reasoned order within a period of one month from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order. The writ application is disposed of.
